Heidz
Heidz was born and grew up in Birmingham, to a part Indian Mother and part French Father. Music began for Heidz at the age of eight, after being inspired by the cult songwriting movie ‘Coyote ugly’. “Growing up, I was super inspired by movies in my writing. From a young age I taught myself guitar and piano so I could write about storylines I had seen in films.” Heidz studied Songwriting at Music School in London and says “Being around other creatives really helped to shape me as a musician”.
Heidz gained unprecedented recognition after the release of her debut EP ‘Discoloured’ - a concept EP based around memories that Heidz relates to different colours. This launched her into the spotlight building a fan base and following of over 50k on social media. Following this, Heidz went on to work with some of the biggest global brands, featuring in campaigns with Google, Nike, Topshop and Adidas.
At the end of 2019 and Heidi had SOLD OUT her first headline show at London O’Meara and garnered a total of 1 million streams across all streaming platforms.
As well as a fully fledged musican and songwriter, Heidz is a trained painter and illustrator who has been developing her own collection of art work for the last 5 years. Heidiz current project is working on being one of the first artists to incorporate both her music and art within her next album. Her obscure lyrics and story-telling concepts makes Heidz a captivating new artist to watch out for.
