CATCHING UP WITH JOSIPA CVITKOVIC

Following on from the excitement of London Fashion Week - we caught up with Josipa Cvitkovic for a quick chat. Having just experienced her first LFW and modelling for the likes of Bora Aksu, Charlotte Olympia and Isa Arfen to name a few....its been a rather busy week for this beaut!

Age:  23

Nationality: Croatia

Hometown:  Slavonski Brod

How were you discovered?

Its a long story, but it came looking for me really so I took the chance! I felt it was a good opportunity; travelling, meeting different people, different cultures, discovering myself, growing up and being more responsible and adaptive!

What were you doing before modelling?

I was studying graphic design and civil engineering but I couldn't find myself in it – it just wasn’t me

What makes Josipa tick?

I LOVE music, books, all types of art, nature, animals, tattoos (I also really want to be a tattoo artist!), oh and sleeping and beer :)

So LFW just happened - all kinds of amazing! It seems someone was a very busy lady indeed!!

It was great – I cannot complain :) It was my first time here for London Fashion week and it was really really good for me. I always know that I can do better though, so next time, I will

What got you through the week?

Music, Coffee, and having a well earned beer after a looong day!

Best moment?

Really hard to choose, but honestly, I liked the energy of Isa Arfen and stylist Valentine Fillol-Cordier - getting a chance to work with them, they were so nice and kind. Hopefully I'll see them again soon! :)

We all know how important it is for a model to be prepared, but can you fill us in on those all essential items you carried in your kit?

I don’t really use any beauty products as such, but I always carry lip balm with me, and Nivea cream, because my skin can get really dry!

What beauty tips do you swear by?

Don't put make up on at all – we are all more beautiful without it <3

What has been the highlight of your career so far?

Shooting a fashion film in Milan; acting is one of the most fascinating things for me, and one of my biggest dreams

Favourite Designer?

I don't have anyone specific really, although my friend Luciano Parisi is one of the most interesting, young, cool designers - with amazing style, and he has his own brand ‘The Sign’.

What couldn't you live without?

100% Music

Who is your biggest inspiration and why?

I don’t really have one in particular, I find my biggest inspiration all around me

What are you obsessed with right now?

My phone charger (so bad I know) but right now I can't allow myself to run out of battery #ModernLife

What’s currently on your playlist?

Guns n roses

What makes you smile?

Lots of things – but mostly positive energy!

What’s next for you? Anything exciting in the pipeline for 2016?

Well I am currently enjoying Milan and then heading back to London, but I would really love to go to Tokyo and New York soon - that would be so nice!

Can you sum yourself up in three words?

Can it be 2? - Big Kid :)

What’s your secret to a happy life?

To enjoy it as much as I can, and remain positive!
