Magdalena Sverlander is an emerging Swedish actress who has received recognition, as well as *Best Actor nominations for the lead role of Tindra Diaz in the multiple award winning Swedish movie, When Tears Have Fallen, directed by Henrik Henziger.
Magdalena trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, London, where after graduating, she co-founded the Underfoot Theatre Company, and co-wrote and performed Living Between Lies directed by Florence Bell.
TV work includes Comedy Central’s sitcom I Live With Models and the ITV2 comedy pilot The Ky and Ty Show. Other film work includes the British comedy The Five Wives and Lives of Melvyn Pfferberg, acting alongside Brooke D'Orsay (Two and Half Men), En Perfekt Film (Scenkonstbolaget), Ego (Filmlance) directed by Lisa James Larsson and the BAFTA nominated shortfilm Samuel - 613.
In addition to her acting work, at the age of 17 she was discovered by a fashion scout and worked as a professional fashion model across the world for clients such as Vogue, Elle, Marie Claire, Roberto Cavalli, Louis Vuitton, Reebok and Puma whilst shooting with photographers such as Lachlan Bailey and Rankin. Magdalena is also a past member of the electronic music band In Trance 95, with whom she toured and played keyboards. She has over 10 years of classical piano training.
In 2018 Magdalena is confirmed to play the female support in the international feature film The Gemina Project, as well as the lead role of Emma in British period drama The Days We Lost, by director by Daniel Ambor and David Pimm (Lady Macbeth, Love Me Not, Patriot).
