Calum Best was born in 1981, son of late British football legend, George Best.
Throughout his teens and early twenties, Calum worked as an international model, fronting campaigns for Burberry, Guess, Jockey Underwear, Tommy Hilfiger and Sketchers. Calum has appeared in Vogue, on the cover of the Evening Standard Magazine and Sunday Times Style to name but a few.
Calum has taken to the screen acting in the ITV1 cult drama series Footballers Wives, and independent films Psyche and The Outsider, a British independent film produced by Arran Anyrin Bowen
He also took part in TV programs including ITV1’s Celebrity Love Island, ITV2 series Calum, Fran and Dangerous Danan, MTV’s Totally Calum Best in Los Angeles, ITV2 show Paris Hilton’s British Best Friend, Live from Studio Five, and presented a BBC Children in Need documentary Brought Up By Booze, which had 1.5 million viewers on BBC1. The success of the program also helped to raise awareness for the charity.
The success from Calum’s first men’s cologne in 2006, has lead onto the release of multiple high selling fragrances, grooming products and health supplements. He has also created his own clothing line, Ibiza Boys Club.
Calum is a very hands-on patron of charity. He raises money for NOCOA (National Organisation For Children Of Alcoholics), Acytion On Addiction and The Elton John Aids Foundation amongst others by participation in the London Marathon every year. He also entered into two gruelling trek’s through Vietnam for the Children’s trust and Indian for The British Heart Foundation.
In January 2014 Calum was the featured guest in Money Talks for ITV1 show This Morning, and the BBC Northern Ireland followed him for their hit series Story Of A Lifetime.
Calum is releasing a feature length documentary My Best about his journey as the son of the world’s most iconic football hero, George Best.
2015 saw Calum enter Chanel 5’s Celebrity Big Brother House, and was in the final 3 contestants to leave the house. His genuine personality won the hearts of the nation, labelling him a Gentleman. He has already done multiple magazine and TV interviews, with exciting projects to be released later in the year.
